Hello all.

I was thinking about putting the Newsletter on Haitus until the new year. As BW has now stopped airing and the communities are quite.

What do you think. I dont mind whether you like the idea or not and want to keep running the newsletter.

Posting Reminders

Weve exerienced problems this week and what i propose is that i will send out reminders, if you want. Either posting them here at bw_mod_watch or i can send them directly to your journal through messages. Reminders would go out either the day before yyour supposed to post or on the actual day. I dont mind which. If you dont want me to send reminders we can also see what happens with the next rotation schedule, below.

Week 3 : Tuesday and Friday - laii

I dont mind about a deadline just that there posted on those days.

padys as were sharing a week what do you want to do and what do you want me to do.

Sorry for the confusion. This was my idea

Week 1: Tuesday - laii
: Friday - laii do you want the full week or someone else to take friday

Week 2: Tuesday - padys and ls_silence
: Friday - ?

Week 2: Tuesday - ls_silence
: Friday - ?

For the Friday edition do you want the same week as your tuesday edition or is this too much. If so we have fridays on a different rotation - Week 1 - padys and ls_silence / Week 2 ls_silence / Week 3 - laii

Is this making any sense.

Okay well Tuesdays/Fridays it is then for the newsletter to be published

As to how we do the journal both ideas were voted for so as accomodation i suggest a halfway.

laii wanted an edition each while padys wanted to split everything up because of RL things.

- i havent heard again from laii and i take an edition each and the padys and i take an edition and split the work between us. It would then be on a three week rotation.

Hows that for everyone.

For doing an eiditon each would you be alright to cover both editions for the whole week or do you want to rotate the episode edition as well.

The Newsletter -

Putting 2 out a week - one before the show airs and one after that will only contain Reaction / Discussion / Recap Posts?

When do you want to put them out - 1st one - Monday OR Tuesday 2nd one - Friday OR Saturday - or anyother day?

Also how do you want to work the newspaper. We could do an edition each OR work together each taking different roles.

If all taking different roles what are the roles and does anyone want to do specific things.

Current roles :-

[x] Finding all the information from the Comms
[x] Coding the newsletter
[x] Posting the newsletter
[x] Dealing with all the comments the newsletter gets.

Roles can be taken by more several people.

Also I dont want the newsletter to report on any friends only posts. sarahcorvus has had a friends only from its mod and it says in the post not to be used outside the community. If no-one minds that is - we'll put a note in the newsletter.

I'll do simple things to it now - do the profile page - added everyone as members/maintaners and can post. Also i do slight customizing - but we can change it later when we've all decided.

Since time_in said she can do some of the customizing - and if anyone else can please say. We will wait. Any body any ideas what they want the newsletter to look like - how it looks etc.

New Co-Mod and New Default Icon

We have a new co-mod padys has volunterred their service.

I cant believe bionic woman is such a small community and we already have a newsletter and 4 mods - i makes me really hopefully that this show does well so we have lots to report on.

Ive also uploaded a default icon - its not brilliant but i just wanted one for the journal. If anyone has any others that we could use as the default just say.

Also when posting in this journal ive made different usepics for us - there just simple black background with your user-name on. It just makes it simpler to know who's posted and commented.

But you are more than welcome to upload your own userpic. Just leave a post saying that you have and what the usepic is so we can identify you.

Also we need a overall journal userpic - any suggestions.

Hi. Thanks for wanting to be mods on the bionic woman newsletter. Ive set up this journal so that it can be used to watch all those comms. (Im in the process of friending all the bionic woman comms.)
